If you need micro machined parts, we have 2 candidates for such work. Featured capabilities are CNC milling of 1/4” square and CNC Swiss Micro-Machining from .004″ up to 1.625″ diameter in any length…with tolerances of .ooo1.
Our machine shop network contains a dozen shops with combinations of milling and turning centers, including several with 5-axis machining. Many of these shops are ISO certified; some are AS, TS and others are minority owned, in hub zones, or disabled vet owned. We also have several sheet metal fabricators with a wide range of secondary capabilities such as stamping, painting, and even silk screening.
At the large fabrication end of the scale, one company with a 6000 watt laser has just installed a 1500 ton x 30’ long press brake with 26’4” between the housings. We have 2 companies that can roll heavy plate up to 13’ long with multi-radius bends and flats between bends.
If you need very large items machined or ground, milling is available up to 88 feet in length, 14 feet wide, and 10 feet high. Such mills have precision readouts with positioning to 0.0005” This same company has several housing grinders, with up to 123” x 315” capability.
