Sometimes we receive inquiries for some part which is actually one step of many in a project. For example, an RFQ might call for a machined part. Later, the part will then be welded into something and the final thing assembled. This is not unusual, but these later steps were not included in the RFQ and we only learned of them later.
As our main article points out, such information would be useful to have at the start of a buyer’s search. A company like the one we are promoting below would be more appropriate and more interested in bidding if this knowledge is available.
