The chroming tank we offer can handle 5000 pound parts up to 16’ long.  OD grinding and roll/shaft repairs can handle 8000 pounds and 10 feet in length.  Hard chrome plating for wear resistance is usually 0.005 to 0.0005 in thickness.  Decorative plating is more thinly applied.
